This includes: - Create and maintain accurate client records on back-office systems, platforms and other IT systems, e.g. cashflow & risk profiler. - Prepare client documentation and correspondence. - Production of portfolio valuations. - Undertake Fund switches / rebalances / top-ups / withdrawals. - Be a friendly and professional point of contact for clients and enquiries. - Ensure action points resulting from client meetings are dealt with. - Ensure compliance with business standards and procedures. **Additional Information** - Flexible working around core hours of 10am - 4pm - Free parking available - 20 minutes from Euston by train **Salary & Benefits** - Salary: to £35,000 - We don't pay bonuses, but we do regularly review salaries with a genuinely meritocratic approach - 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays - Pension - Structured training and exam support programme - Flexible working policy - Personal development days (1 day per quarter) **Essential Criteria** - **Have a background in financial planning gained within an IFA/financial planning firm, provider, wealth manager or platform.**: - **Unrestricted rights to work in the UK** **Desirable Criteria** - Experience as a Financial Planning Administrator - Progress with Diploma exams. - Ability to explain financial concepts clearly. - Numerical. - Strong attention to detail. - Comfortable conversing with clients naturally and positively to understand their motivations. - Experience with report writing. - Compassionate, empathetic and able to build relationships. **About the company** In 1984, John Joseph set up John Joseph Financial Services, which for nearly 40 years has helped families feel secure and relaxed regarding their financial life.
