**Overview**:

- A rare opportunity for an experienced mortgage broker or a mortgage adviser to work from a busy estate agency office in the Newport.
- Our client is offering the successful mortgage broker or mortgage adviser a basic salary to £26k dependent upon experience plus full benefits including car or allowance, pension, DIS, bonus & commissions, plus all leads provided on a day-to-day basis.

**Main Duties**:

- As an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser working with the team of market leading estate agency staff acting as your introducer, you will offer whole of market mortgage and protection advice to new and an existing client base in the Newport.
- Working closely with an estate agency introducer you will receive leads on a day-to-day basis, as well as receiving new leads, you will have access to the existing warm client database, to offer a remortgage or to revaluate their existing protection policies
- As the only mortgage broker or mortgage adviser in the estate agency branch, you will be responsible for managing your own diary and speak to the new clients as soon as the referral is passed over.
- As a mortgage broker or mortgage adviser it is imperative that you also offer advice of the associate mortgage protection including life, critical illness as well as income protection.
- **Key Skills**:

- You must be an experienced mortgage broker or mortgage adviser or a bank-based mortgage advisor who is experienced in offering mortgage and protection advice and possess the relevant mortgage qualifications either the CeMAP or CF1 & CF6.
- Being a team player is also essential for this role, as you will be working with the existing members of staff.
- A clean credit history along with no criminal convictions and a full UK driving licence is also essential for this role.
