**Role Title**:
Project Assistant

**Role purpose**:
To support and complement the PROPS strategic plan.

To contribute to Trainee learning, development and achievement.

To work effectively with Trainees, on an individual or group basis.

To support and deliver Project activities.

To support Trainees to and from PROPS by accessing a variety of different modes of transport.

**Reports to**:
Project Leads

**Role Responsibilities**:
**Main Responsibilities**
- Effective session delivery, using own experience and initiative, liaising with the Project

Lead.
- Inclusion of all Trainees in all elements of Project work.
- Feedback to Project Lead on Trainee learning, behaviour, progress and well-being.
- Effective and sensitive communication with Trainees.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day running of activities.

**Additional Responsibilities**:
**Trainee Support**
- Engage with Trainees through activity delivery, empathetic and sympathetic listening, direct guidance and the provision of appropriate positive feedback to behaviour.
- Report concerns about Project work or Trainee progress to the Project Leads and take part in identifying solutions.
- Develop the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of Trainees, providing personal, social, hygiene, welfare, behaviour and medication support, where appropriate.
- Assist therapeutic professionals in their delivery of specialist support programmes, following specific agreed directions.
- So far as is reasonably practicable, ensure that safe working practices are adopted by employees and Trainees. Ensure all work is carried out in safe working environments, which have been appropriately risk-assessed
- Document and record information appropriately, as required.

**Performance and Achievement**
- Promote the development of continuous improvement in both personal performance and the work of the team.
- Take part in supervisions with senior staff, providing your own input and reaching agreed targets.
- Participate in training where appropriate, keeping up to date with your own areas of interest.
- At all times work in a way that reflects PROPS ethos and culture, promoting and role modelling the social, emotional and behavioural standards.
- Adhere to all PROPS policies and procedures, ensuring your actions would not put the reputation of the organisation into disrepute at any time.
- Ensure that output and quality of work is of a high standard and complies with current legislation and meets the needs of the Charity.
- Carry out other such duties as may be required from time to time by the Management

Team.
- Contribute to PROPS marketing, promotions and events whenever possible.

Sharepoint are an essential element of the job.

**Hours**

35 hours per week pro-rata, days and times may vary according to service requirements
