The Role

As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll be at the heart of delivering complex, high-impact projects that support national security and defence. This is a dynamic role where you'll help drive delivery momentum, working on cutting-edge engineering solutions that make a real difference to our customers and society. Day-to-day, you'll be required to:

• Manage scheduling, cost control, risk management, and procurement activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple disciplines to achieve project goals.
• Support high-performance delivery within programme and project teams.
• Drive progress against plans and deadlines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days onsite and days working from home.

Essential experience of the Assistant Project Manager

• Experience in a project management environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to change.
• Drive and desire to make a positive impact every day.

Qualifications for the Assistant Project Manager

• PFQ and/or PMQ qualification or equivalent (desirable)
• Other formal project management qualifications are advantageous

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
