Are you an experienced Healthcare Worker or Social Worker, with a passion for working with people with a learning disability and/or autism, where you can deliver personalised and meaningful care?

Join the team as a Patient Wellbeing and Family Liaison Lead, where you will work 37.5 hours a week at St Mary's Hospital in Warrington, where you will support the social work team with administration and other aspects of patient liaison. This is an ever-evolvingrole including supporting patients with their benefits and finance issues, ward outings and activities.

With previous experience at the NHS or private sector, you will have a strong understanding of learning disabilities, the Mental Health Act, Care Act and the impact this can have on a person's wellbeing as you provide person-centred support to service users,with regular communication with their families and the wider team.

**Your responsibilities**:

- To professionally manage complaints made by patients, in accordance with the Company Policy
- To monitor, via the complaints log, all complaints dealt with at ward level
- To maintain the Complaints Database and send to Elysium central monthly
- To produce monthly statistical reports and present these at the Senior Management Team/Head of Department Meeting.
- Attend Elysium meetings, representing the North West Patient Liaison Coordinators, as and when required
- Assist in maintaining a high standard in office practice and procedures, including filing systems
- Maintain any records as may from time to time be specified to support tasks being carried out or allow monitoring of tasks
- To positively engage with patients via involvement in patients' council, patient questionnaires and patient surveys
- To carry out any administration duties directly linked to patients' council

**To be successful in this role, you'll need**:

- Experience as a Healthcare Worker or Social Worker
- Ability to work independently using your initiative
- Experience of administration/office systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience with supporting people with learning disabilities
- Experience within a similar environment and/or role
