Project Management Surveyor
**Duration: 6 month contract initially with potential extensions**

**Rate: £200 - £250 per day umbrella (Negotiable dependant on experience)**

**Location: Midlands - Hybrid working model**

**NB: Full UK Driving License and access to own car essential**

We are currently working with a Local Authority who require the assistance of a Project Management Surveyor on an Interim basis. Please see below for details:
**Role Responsibilities
- Review data and systems pertaining to the asset management of the Councils leased portfolio
- Support migration to and setting up of a new estate management system
- Checking current and setting new service charge arrangements
- Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals
- Supporting the new system to collect rents and other monies due, including chasing of arrears
- Managing and organising improvement, repair and maintenance work for properties, including liaising with tenants and contractors, arranging access, and checking that works are completed
- Undertaking annual / periodic property inspections
- Liaison with Facilities Management team to ensure all compliance checks are complete and logging these
- Identify and implementing asset management opportunities
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of appropriate legislation
- Must be MRICS qualified or equivalent
- Must have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for business use
- Experience working within Local Government department desirable
- Practical understanding of commercial property and asset management (including service charge management)
- Must have strong verbal and numerical skills and be comfortable with report writing
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time and assist the team in meeting deadlines
