Become part of a leading Housing contractor across a trophy Midlands contract.Play a key role in delivering projects to improve homes and communities.About Our ClientOur client is a leading social housing contractor looking to add a Project QS to their Midlands business unit.Job DescriptionAs a Project QS, you'll take ownership of both pre- and post-contract commercial activities, including:Driving project team performance and ensuring contractual obligations are met.Producing and submitting monthly CVRs and progress reports.Managing external valuations and cash flow to maximise project value.Supporting the Commercial Manager with final accounts and subcontractor agreements.Overseeing procurement, valuations, instructions, and ensuring compliance with H&S processes.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal Project QS will have:Strong commercial acumen and experience in cost control, value recovery, and cash management.Understanding of financial reporting and final accounts.Experience in social housing retrofit-SHDF knowledge is a bonus, but not essential.Is a confident communicator who can build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and the supply chain.Is passionate about leading and developing commercial site teams.What's on OfferCompetitive salary, car allowance and package.Permanent position within a reputable property organisation.Opportunities for professional growth and career development.Based in the desirable location of Warwick.This is an excellent chance to further your career as a Project Quantity Surveyor in the property industry.
