Shakira Keddo, the newly appointed Assistant Director of People, is looking to **fill **a number of** critical role**s, to help accelerate the work to transform the newly developed People Function into a truly strategic, modern, and expert one. You would have a part to play in helping to develop and deliver the new People Strategy, which will support the organisation to deliver its strategic objectives. The GLA is embarking on its own programme of transformation, whilst settling into new hybrid ways of working at the new City Hall in the Royal Docks and continues to serve the needs of the Mayor and the London Assembly in this unusually short administrative term. Now more than ever is the need for a professional and skilled People Function to support them in this, and help build a diverse and inclusive workforce, one that is representative of the population it serves.

You will require creativity, commitment, and imagination and to embrace the scrutiny of our work.

Planning and organising - Thinking ahead, managing time, priorities, and risk, and developing structured and efficient approaches to deliver work on time and to a high standard.

Responding to pressure and change - Flexible and adapting positively, to sustain performance when the situation changes, workload increases, tensions rise or priorities shift.

Problem solving -Analysing and interpreting situations from a variety of viewpoints and finding creative, workable, and timely solutions.

This role will be based at City Hall, in the Royal Docks (Kamal Chunchie Way, London, E16 1ZE). GLA staff are hybrid working up to 3 days a week in our offices and remotely depending on their role. As part of this, you will need to split your time between home working and coming into the office.
