**Job title: HEAD COACH**
**Experienced Children’s Calisthenics & Fitness Coach**

**Locations: Survival Fitness 2 - Lougborough**

**Salary: Dependent on experience**

**Days/Hours per week: 18 - 27 hours p/w**

**Monday 4pm-7pm, Tuesday 4pm-7pm, Wednesday 4pm-7pm, Thursday 4pm-7pm, Friday 4pm-7pm, Saturday 8.30am-2.30pm, and Sunday 8.30am-2.30pm**

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead a class of up to 32 children aged 5-14 years old with mixed abilities alongside 2 senior coaches.
- Follow and instruct children according to the set workouts for the week and within specified timeframes, staying updated with communications to ensure appropriate delivery.
- Ensure the needs of all children are met, maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety standards, including equipment maintenance.
- Modify exercises as necessary to accommodate various skill levels and injuries, prioritising children’s safety.
- Create an engaging environment to ensure children have a rewarding experience.
- Work in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Uphold the organisation's reputation by delivering high-quality training.
- Maintain cleanliness of the environment.
- Report any key information to the manager of Survival Fitness.

**MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Knowledge of Calisthenics
- Basic DBS
- Experience working with children
- 1+ years of experience teaching groups and/or personal training in the fitness industry
- Personal Training certification from a recognised organisation
- Safeguarding Children or willing to undertake this
- L1 Children’s CrossFit or willing to undertake this
- L1 Calisthenics or willing to undertake this
- Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- Strong ability to coach and motivate multiple children in a group setting
- Effective time management skills
- High level of organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instruction
- Strong and adaptable interpersonal and communication skills
- Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong work ethic, able to work flexibly, with integrity and professionalism always
- Pride in personal presentation and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, personable, reliable and empathetic

Pay: £20.00-£30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 27 per week
