**About the role**
We have a new opportunity for a Production Controller to come and join us at Polar Systems Ltd, playing a central role in the processing of orders from our own in house production to a range of clients that work with us. You will act as a key contact in the business, providing a strong link between subcontract sales our in house engineering and manufacturing and the laser department..
Attention to detail in this role will be crucial, so that you can work with the Sales team to understand exactly what our customers require before processing orders and working on in house projects. You'll be tracking the progress of all jobs as they move through laser and folding production stages, and will be expected to keep a consistent workflow to all departments.
We'll also be expecting you to use our scheduling software to develop an effective, seamless process, constantly taking on customer feedback as to how we can improve our process and save money in the future whilst still delivering a first-class service to our customers.
About you
- Experience in a similar role, in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Bysoft 7, Bysoft CAM, Plant manager essential
- Knowledge of CAD 2D
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to work with various IT programs
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
**Experience**:
- production control: 1 year (preferred)
