Payroll & Systems Administrator
Homebased with occasional travel to Saint Ives, Cambridgeshire
**About the role**
Reporting to the Head of People, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Payroll and Systems administration service to the People and Finance Teams.
This will involve collating and preparing the monthly payroll update for the Division. Ensuring that all payments are processed accurately, according to the agreed schedule, checking and approving the payroll reports once the payroll provider has uploaded these to the portal. Coordinating the Save as You Earn scheme data, preparing payroll journals, checking and arranging payment of monthly expenses and managing and updating the VAT mileage reclaim sheet. You will also support with the collation and submission of P11D's.
The 'systems' part of the role will involve you being the primary contact for queries on all HR system (YouManage, Smart Hive, Blink, Delta and other internal portals). This will including maintaining the data and keeping it up to date. You will also maintain the benefits portal when new benefits are made available, and ensuring all staff details on the system are accurate.
**About you**
You will work with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail and have previous experience of supporting with monthly payroll collation and submission. Advanced excel skills including proficient use of pivot tables is a must as is a sound understanding of payroll legislation. As you will be working within the People Team you will need to work with integrity and in confidence. If you have experience in HR administration and an understanding of HR processes or systems or SAGE and accountancy software this will be a huge bonus.
