Supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring the effective delivery of all HR related administrative tasks.

Working pattern: 24-32 hours per week part-time or as part of a HR Support Apprenticeship: HR support (level 3) - apprenticeship training course

What you'll be doing:

  • Onboarding: New hire onboarding administration
  • Training and Development: Assist with administration of Learning & Development programs to enhance the skills and performance of colleagues
  • Compliance: Maintaining up-to-date records
  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, including personnel files, benefits information, and HR databases
  • Employee Engagement: Support initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive workplace culture
  • System Implementation: Assist with new HRIS and other HR related systems implementation process to include bulk uploading
  • Monitor the HR inbox and in-person queries, triaging enquiries to answer directly where possible, and referring to the relevant line manager or HR colleagues where appropriate
  • Other work as allocated from Line Manager
  • Deputise for HR colleagues as required.
  • Carry out any other reasonable request or duties as maybe required from time to time

Some travel across the UK and Ireland may be required to support HR activities in our other UK locations (currently Wolverhampton and Wombwell).

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in an administrative role is essential
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring effective management of multiple priorities.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Adaptable: Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers at all levels
  • Problem Solver: Proactive in identifying issues and developing effective solutions
  • A satisfactory DBS check will be required
