**Andy File Associates Limited is working as a Recruitment Agency on behalf of our client with regards this permanent position.**

Main responsibilities include:

- Establishing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge and understanding of hydraulics, technical/products/service & repairs
- Developing an understanding of the company products and services, customers, competitors and the business environment
- Seeking and analysing local market Intelligence and Information about potential and existing customers to develop and deliver sales, profit targets and objectives
- Arranging and attending customer meetings
- Retaining existing clients and building on existing business
- Selling products and services and upselling customers if required
- Recording and tracking sales, meetings and other data using Customer Relationship Management software
- Producing reports at regular intervals for management
- Staying on top of local sales, business and marketing trends to identify new opportunities for sales in the area
A successful Area Sales Representative will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that generally include:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent knowledge of the product or service they are selling
- Ability and confidence to upsell customers and clients
- Proficiency with sales software, particularly CRM (customer relationship management) systems
- Excellent customer service and client-care skills
- Ability to identify emerging markets and new sales opportunities
- Ability to analyse sales data and prepare sales reports
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven track record of selling

Area Sales Rep: Salary £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience. Car allowance 22 days holiday plus stats rising to 26 days plus stats. 1 for ever extra years’ service, standard pension scheme. Travel 85% of the time locally but you cover the whole of theUK. account management and new business development 2 other Area Sales Managers split East and West Leeds currently. Hydraulic knowledge or mechanical interest/bias preferred but not essential.
