Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Food Preparation & Cooking:

- Assist in preparing meals, salads, snacks, and other menu items following Nutriveo’s recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and utilized efficiently to minimize waste.

2. Coffee & Juice Crafting:

- Prepare espresso-based beverages (lattes, cappuccinos, etc.), drip coffee, and specialty drinks.
- Operate juicers and blenders to create cold-pressed juices, smoothies, and health-focused beverages.
- Maintain consistency in taste, portion sizes, and presentation.

3. Kitchen Maintenance & Safety:

- Clean and sanitize workstations, equipment, utensils, and storage areas daily.
- Perform routine checks on kitchen appliances (ovens, blenders, juicers, etc.) and report malfunctions.
- Adhere to health code regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and waste disposal.

4. Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with chefs, baristas, and front-of-house staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in restocking ingredients, packaging, and supplies to avoid shortages during peak hours.

5. Inventory Management:

- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock.
- Assist in receiving and organizing deliveries.

Qualifications:

- Experience in Kitchen experience, café, or juice bar.
- Proficiency in food preparation, coffee brewing, and juicing techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP) and sanitation practices.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Barista certification or training in coffee preparation.
- Familiarity with superfoods, vegan/gluten-free diets, or trending health ingredients.
- Food Handler’s Permit or equivalent certification.
