An amazing opportunity has become available to join our client based in Colnbrook as an Operations Assistant. Working for a company that are well established within the engineering industry you will be responsible for assisting the business in a varietyof different tasks including day to day office tasks and customer service operations.
The role will be handling incoming phone calls and other communications, greeting clients and visitors as well as managing files, updating paperwork and other documents, and performing other general office administration duties and errands.

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for inputting customer stock checks and replenishing stock orders
- Help with physical stock checks and site stock audits when required
- Take accurate detailed sales enquiry information when required
- Carry out price checking on goods by going to market for pricing
- Maintaining SAGE and SimPRO with up-to-date pricing
- Arrange the booking of 'RGS' and 'CLC'
- Ordering of PPE when instructed
- Interact with Directors/Managers/team members providing general/admin assistance
- Maintain office stationery stock check and order stationery supplies as required
- Maintain office cleaning supplies and order cleaning materials as required
- Assist with Goods in and Goods Out as and when required only
- Responsible for customer care and customer service
- Assist CES division with project admin, resourcing, and placements
- Assist Project Management division with project admin and purchasing of materials
- Maintain customer stock control (PPE/uniform) hygiene items, pulling garments/stock as and when required, issuing delivery paperwork maintain customer's spreadsheets portal
- Setting up Purchase and Sales Orders onto SimPRO
- Input and maintain employee and sub contractor's working weekly hours on SimPRO
- Maintain and set up all new customers/suppliers on SimPRO database
- Prepare and manage projects 'works schedule' weekly
- To assist in regular Trade Counter stock checks to ensure accuracy of stock levels is always maintained and issuing Manager weekly with list of items that are low on stock.
- Process on SimPRO the booking in and out of all Sales and Purchase Orders
- Source products online, raise quotation and issue to client
- Inputting of customer invoices onto the Sage and SimPRO system
- Answering the phones and the front door
- Any other duties that the company may reasonably ask you to perform which are within your expertise and skill set
- All documentation to be kept filed and up to date
Key Skills/Experience
- Proficient IT skills: MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Clean criminal record check due to Airside working Measure of Success (KPI's)
- Car driver, full clean UK licence required
- To work effectively as part of a team
- Possess excellent communication skills: written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision
- To always work in a professional manner
- A conscientious, tidy, well organised and pro-active individual
- A can-do attitude, flexible, reliable and energetic
