Job Description
**My client are an international Precision Engineering company that require an experienced Sales support person with very strong admin, Excel and customer service skills. You will be supporting the sales team with quotes, dispatch paperwork, order entry and reporting etc keeping customer records up to date. The role is 35 hours a week, based in Mitcham, Surrey and is paying £24-26Kpa.**
**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Informing and educating customers about the benefits of purchasing and answering any follow-up questions they have.
- Outbound calls to potential prospects to generate interest
- Develop relationships with NEW & existing customers by providing support, information and guidance
- Ensuring the regular and systematic follow up of leads / opportunities to maximise order in-put potential
- Perform any related sales administration tasks i.e. quotations, despatch paperwork, system specification processing etc.
- Maintain accurate customer records, recording and retaining information in a structured and timely manner
- General admin duties for the Management team / Sales & Marketing Team's including some reporting duties as needed
- Order entry processing inclusive of contract review alongside maintaining / updating customer records
- Research all allocated / self-generated leads to identify potential opportunities
- Ensure quotations & evaluation of proposals are performed in accordance with both customer contract procedures and align to best practice policy
- Contribute / participate in sales meetings where identification of new projects at an early stage are reviewed, to enable the organisation to increase sales
- Create, edit & update internal systems / spreadsheets and other business documents and then continue to maintain them in a confidential and easily accessible format
- Respond to incoming mail / website chat requests and phone enquires
- Maintain & update CRM Opportunities & pipeline to enable targets to be met
- Assist Sales & Marketing colleagues with collation of tender documentation and campaigns
- Regular liaison with the engineering/technical team, to ensure that customer/prospect communications are aligned
- Chase customers for any outstanding information required for projects to move to the quotation stage
