Sytner Group have an exciting opportunity available for a Future Talent Advisor

This is a brand new role, so you will have the ability to take full ownership of this opportunity, working autonomously whilst part of a wider and supportive team.

The purpose of this role is to attract future talent into the business and to partner with our dealerships to ensure their school engagement, work experience and apprenticeship activities align with the aim to attract, engage and retain the very best talent.

As our Future Talent Advisor you will continue to build a pipeline of future talent for our work experience and apprenticeship programmes, through a range of innovative school engagement activities. As well as being a true advocate of the Sytner brand.

Provide support to the dealerships to ensure they have a pipeline of quality, future talent and support in national and local careers events.

The expectation is for this role to be in the field on a regular basis interfacing with managers and educational settings.

You will be joining a hard-working, supportive, fun and dedicated HR team who are passionate about making a difference.

Duties and responsibilities for the role include:

- To maintain a calendar of key future talent events that Sytner will attend, whether that be National, Local, Schools, Universities, Charities and Diversity and Inclusion events.
- To ensure each dealership has a ‘School Engagement Champion’ and to regularly meet with all SECs to understand progress made and future plans.
- To update and maintain the suite of School Engagement materials on the HUB.
- To drive all future talent to Sytner Careers to register for work experience, apprenticeships and track the diversity of applicants.
- To work closely with our dealerships who have local relationships with their local schools to host dealership tours etc

It is essential that you can demonstrate strong communications skills with a good understanding of Future Talent and how to engage with them.

We are looking for someone who embraces the importance of Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Access requirements, in relation to recruitment practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable with travelling across the UK to attend various talent related events.

A key part of this role is forming positive relationships, internally and externally, so strong interpersonal skills and the ability to act with integrity and observe confidentiality are essential.
