Admin/accounts Assistant

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy, directing enquiries as appropriate
- Organise and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, ensuring easy retrieval of documents
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks where applicable
- Assist with scheduling appointments, meetings, and events for staff members
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations as required
- Support invoicing and bookkeeping activities through QuickBooks or similar programmes
- Handle general administrative tasks l
- Maintain office supplies inventory and reorder stock when necessary
- Support team members with ad hoc administrative duties to ensure operational efficiency
**Skills**
- Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
- Experience with Dext or similar accounting software is desirable
- Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Strong phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Demonstrated clerical experience supporting busy teams or departments
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with office equipment such as printers
This position is ideal for a proactive individual eager to contribute to a professional office environment while enhancing their administrative skill set.
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
