As a Barclays Resilience Partner, you will be supporting the engagement with the Business Unit/Regional Head to develop, maintain and improve a business aligned, efficient and effective, Resilience Programme. Within this role, you will be part of a team which provides strategic advice to senior stakeholders; supporting and guiding the business area to construct and maintain well controlled, resilient processes.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assisting the Resilience Leads in supporting and delivering against the business units Resilience strategy
- Ensuring the establishment of effective governance to maintain the Resilience (including recovery) capabilities to the Business Units Risk Appetite position
- Guaranteeing resilience is appropriately owned within the business and embedded as part of business planning, management and development
- Supporting the Resilience Leads in providing strategic direction and resilience guidance to all key stakeholders, including Senior Management (CEO, CIO and COO) and Exec
- Providing assistance to Resilience Leads in supporting business areas in identifying and documenting Business Services and Important Business Services
- Assisting in the determination of Business Impact Assessments, Intolerable Harm assessments
- Engaging with SME’s to assess Enterprise Process, Supplier, Technology and Workforce / Premises Resilience requirements
- Working with the Resilience Leads in leading the business in compiling and maintaining a Business Response Plan and Workforce Recovery Plans

**What we’re looking for**:

- Solid grasp of threats, risks, impacts and associated mitigations as they relate to a major banking organisation
- Relevant experience in either financial service industry or another regulated environment such as Resilience, Risk & Control or a complex business operation
- Experience of working in a relationship management, advisory or consultancy role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities including data management and analysis skills

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience in business resilience and continuity, theoretical and practical and an understanding of these disciplines within the financial services industry
- Understanding of Enterprise Risk Management Frameworks and organizational model utilizing “three line of defence”
- Project Management, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, including Management experience, or equivalent experience
