To provide senior medical leadership in the Acute Medicine Department at Stafford Hospital, with responsibility for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of all categories of patients and the proper functioning of the Department.
The post holder will gain a wide range of experience in all aspects of work within the Acute Medicine Department. They will be expected to work as a middle grade doctor covering all clinical areas of the Department. There will always be a consultant available for advice/supervision
Participation in out of hours / on call work is expected and will be re numerated according to the terms and conditions set out in this contract
