**Job overview**:

- This is a newly created post within the Mental Health Directorate Operational Management Structure and has been created to enhance and strengthen the managerial team and add management capacity into the service. This is a unique opportunity to use your experience and skills to lead the development of the new Intensive Assertive Treatment model. This post is a fixed term contract for the purpose of creating the initial team and service model.- You will be joining a dynamic and supportive senior leadership team to help develop a new integrated pathway for people with complex psychosis within the Community Mental Health Service Line. We are looking for an energetic and passionate Manager to encourage and contribute to creating an innovative mental health service, informed by a cutting-edge evidence-based guidance. There will be a key focus on quality improvement to enhance services.**Main duties of the job**:
The post holder will be responsible for providing high quality operational leadership to a develop and build a team of clinicians who will be offering an intensive and assertive approach to working with people with complex psychosis. You will work alongside the directorates Service Managers and the Director of Mental health. You will make strong links with the wider directorate and multi-agency provision and foster seamless care pathways to ensure an informed approach across organisation and system mental health providers. You will be focused on team development, defining the clinical pathway and overcoming any issues as the service evolves.

This is a key role within the directorate, and the post-holder will be expected to deliver innovative services that are responsive and provide the best value for the population of Cornwall, their family and
their carers. Therefore, the post-holder must be able to demonstrate a commitment and passion for achieving the best health care and support for the people of Cornwall.
