**Interim Pensions Officer required immediately**

A position has arisen for a **Pensions Officer** within an **NHS** organisation in **Devon.** This would be an initial 2-3 contract that potentially may be extended.

**Hourly Rate**: £14,28 via Umbrella

**Contract Length**: 2-3 months +

**Location**: Devon (Fully Remote)

**Hours**:37.5

**Your duties will include**:

- Ensures payroll information is processed in accordance with procedures, in order to provide information for statutory returns, through completion of own work and through the coordination of the work of others.
- Investigates Payroll and Pensions enquiries, providing assistance and guidance as required.
- Ensures that work is completed in line with financial timescales and legal requirements.
- May provide advice to staff regarding Pay, Benefits or Pensions guidance or support
- Respond to queries in relation to all payroll / NHS Pensions areas, Including Taxation, NI, Pensions queries, salary exchange schemes
- Carries out complex calculations regarding pay and NHS Pensions and decides how to manage over / under payments
- Analysis of service history from Pensions On Line (POL), producing pensions estimates and calculating Total Pensionable Pay figures
- Ability to review NHS Pensions EOY Errors and ensure corrected in a prompt and accurate manner

**Essential**:

- Excellent Pensions systems knowledge
- Previous NHS experience

**Desirable**:

- ESR experience
