East and North Herts NHS Trust have an exciting permanent opportunity for a senior manager who can demonstrate a blend of strategic and compassionate leadership to join our proactive, dynamic team who is looking to take the next step in their career.
In this role, you will lead in compliance and risk management and be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the compliance and risk assurance framework, ensuring robust systems for maintaining and monitoring compliance across the organisation are maintained and provide expert advice on CQC regulation across the Trust.

Strategy
Be responsible for leading the development and implementation of the compliance and risk assurance framework, ensuring robust systems for maintaining and monitoring compliance across the organisation are maintained and support early escalation.
Lead the review and implementation of the Risk Management
Strategy and risk improvement plan to support embedding effective
risk management across the Trust.
Compliance
Act as the lead relationship contact with the local CQC Assessorand support regular engagement meetings.
To provide expert advice to staff on CQC regulation, resolving dayto day problems relating to the registration compliance and taking
appropriate actions or escalating accordingly.
Ensure the central systems and databases that support theimplementation of the systems to ensure evidence is collated for
CQC registration requirements and other regulatory activity are
maintained.
Risk Management
To review and develop the Risk Management Improvement Planand take responsibility for its implementation according to defined
timeframes including implementation of risk appetite.
To ensure the reporting of risk supports visibility and escalationward/department to Board with clear and early escalation.
