**Summary**:
DWP is looking to fill Diversity and Inclusion roles in People, Capability and Place** **directorate. These are key roles and we are looking for people who will help us deliver significant results around the provision of workplace adjustments across DWP.

**Job description**:

- Delivering a customer-focused service by delivering consistent, accurate, timeous and tailored advice in response to enquiries received, through consultation calls with Line Managers.
- Effectively managing workplace adjustment caseload to meet demanding timescales, including;
- Identifying and making appropriate referrals via occupational health / specialist furniture providers.
- Reviewing reports and advising on the implementation of workplace adjustments.
- Discussing complex cases with CSHR casework to provide holistic support to customers.
- Using strong communication and interpersonal skills to understand complex issues and find the right course of action/make sound recommendations.
- Building and maintaining effective trust based working relationships with a range of diverse and demanding stakeholders and suppliers to support the delivery of effective business outcomes.
- To work within a high level of confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
- Working closely and developing great trust based working relationships both with colleagues in HR People Services, the business and the wider People Capability and Place community as well as across other government departments and workplace adjustment providers, sharing HR expertise and driving forward improvement.

- Be able to accurately record evidence and complete other administrative tasks.
- Be calm and adaptable in ever changing situations.
- Ability to tackle problems, and identify solutions, working on own or with others to obtain agreement.
- Ability to assess information clearly and make effective decisions.
- Work at pace and work well across different teams and colleagues to reach end goal, against conflicting priorities.
- Ability to build and maintain effective trust based working relationships with a range of diverse and demanding internal and external stakeholders to support the delivery of effective business outcomes whilst giving full consideration to opposing views.
- Use of IT platforms including word, outlook and excel.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Associate CIPD membership is desirable or a willingness to work towards.
- For roles located in Wales, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
