You will be required to assist in providing the day-to-day delivery of all the purchasing needs emanating from the respective departments within the Port of Dover.

We are looking for someone to work as a Civil Engineer and Project Manager in delivering civil engineering projects from inception to completion.

**This is a full-time contract position starting asap for approx. 4-8 months**

**The Procurement Manager Role**:
You will be required to assist in the day to day delivery of all of the sourcing and purchasing needs of departments across the Port.

You will initiate and administer sourcing and negotiations as well as undertaking some regulated tender processes (Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016) to procure goods and services across a wider range of direct and indirect categories.

You will drive high quality stakeholder engagement with business scope owners and ensure all procurement processes deliver the best outcomes and value for money for the Port.

The post holder will also provide support to the Stores function, which is managed on a day-to-bay basis by the Stores Manager, and the purchasing function that is administered by the Commercial Assistant.

You will support the business in effectively and efficiently managing key supplier relationships and Framework contracts through appropriate SRM methods and tools such as IFS.

You will ideally have strong IT category experience as the procurement lead for the acquisition of ERP systems or similar complex systems with significant business change impacts.

**Procurement Manager Requirements**:

- BEng/MEng in Civil Engineering or similar, with 2+ years post-graduate experience
- Skilled and knowledgeable in the use of AutoCad
- A demonstrable understanding of CDM Regulations
- Full driving licence and use of own transport
