**Sales Administrator - Maternity Cover**
This is an exciting opportunity for a **Sales Administrator** to join Engineered Composites Ltd on a **9-month maternity cover contract**, with the **potential for the role to become permanent**. **About the Role**

As a Sales Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales and operations team, ensuring smooth processes and delivering exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include:
**Customer Support**:

- Answering telephone calls with professionalism and providing outstanding assistance.

**Order and Invoice Management**:

- Entering sales orders and proforma invoices into Sage.
- Processing customer orders and preparing accurate sales invoices.
- Allocating orders and printing job sheets for the warehouse.
- Transferring stock records and preparing fencing paperwork.

**Dispatch and Logistics**:

- Despatching orders and printing manifests.
- Calculating carriage costs and ensuring smooth delivery processes.

**Sales and Marketing Support**:

- Taking card payments and completing end-of-day banking processes.
- Updating marketing costs on the internal board.

**Inventory and Procurement**:

- Checking stock for quotes and obtaining supplier quotes.
- Raising purchase orders for UK-based orders.

**System Maintenance**: Running daily Sage backups to ensure data integrity.

**What We’re Looking For**
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Clear and professional in verbal and written interactions.
- **Attention to Detail**: Accurate in handling orders, invoices, and data entry.
- **Organisational Skills**: Proactive in managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- **Team Player**: Able to collaborate effectively in a supportive environment.
- **Tech Savvy**: Experience with Sage 50, Microsoft Word, and Excel is advantageous but not essential—training will be provided.
