**Hotel Porter**

**Part Time - 24 hours per week, to include evenings and weekends on a rota basis**

**Salary of up to £14,352 per annum, plus service charge**

Your role is essential, as you handle everything from assisting with luggage to creating a seamless first impression. Swinton Estate is situated in the Yorkshire Dales and is one of the largest privately owned estates in England. Constantly developing we boast Swinton Park, a luxury traditional castle hotel with 42 bedrooms, three holiday cottages and award winning Samuel’s Restaurant; a luxurious country club and spa including the contemporary Terrace Restaurant; Swinton Bivouac a glamping site with tree lodges, yurts and café, and last but by no means least the Swinton cookery school.

The Role:_**

A Hotel Porter is required for Swinton Park 4 red star luxury hotel to work with our Front of House Team. Main responsibilities of the role include
- Meeting our guests on arrival.
- Taking responsibility for luggage
- Helping guests to their rooms
- Assisting with any enquiries from residents and non-residents
- Being that all-important member of staff who sees them happily and safely on their journey at the conclusion of their stay.
- To work up to 40 hours per week to include some evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

- **_ _**Experienced in a Front of House environment
- Full UK driving licence (beneficial)
- Guest focused
- Highly motivated with a can-do attitude
- Able to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Focused on providing excellent customer service
- Able to work arrange of hours including early morning, evenings and weekends
