Page Personnel is supporting a highly reputable organisation with their recruitment of a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their accountancy team on a temporary basis. The role is working within a sizeable accountancy team and reports to the Financial Controller.The role is based in Winchester and is hybrid.

**Client Details**

Our client is based in Winchester and can be easily accessed by public transport as well as providing free parking for those driving. The accountancy team works on a hybrid basis and the same will be honoured for this temporary position.

**Description**

As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for:

- Processing a large volume of invoices
- Preparing and processing the weekly payment run
- Handling the petty cash
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing staff expenses

**Profile**

In order to be considered for the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you must:

- Have previously worked in a similar role and be able to demonstrate this
- Be immediately available or on very short notice
- Be able to hit the ground running
- Be able to work as part of a team and individually
- Have strong Excel skills and able to use accounting software confidently
