Senior Event Producer

**SENIOR CONFERENCE PRODUCER/MANAGER - FINTECH EVENTS**

FinTech Global, a leading FinTech news, research and events company, is looking to hire a Senior Conference Producer or Conference Manager to develop our successful portfolio of events. We are looking for an experienced conference producer with 3 to 5 years of experience who wants to take a leading role in growing a market-leading events business.

**Full-Time. Salary: £35K to £50K (depending on experience) + BONUSES**

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Take a leadership role in creating and managing industry-leading business events.
- Oversee two other conference producers, providing mentoring and training to help them develop their professional capabilities.
- Work closely with the directors to contribute ideas to the company’s event strategy and business growth.
- Manage a portfolio of successful FinTech events, driving growth and creating and implementing new event ideas.
- Undertake research to understand the key business issues impacting the FinTech industry and the digital transformation of financial services.
- Lead desk research, telephone interviews and face-to-face meetings with industry leaders and our in-house team of journalists and analysts.
- Create insight-led agendas for conferences, hybrid events and webinars that address the issues being faced by industry leaders.
- Identify and engage senior-level speakers from industry and manage speaker relationships, before, during and after events.
- Liaise with the marketing team to ensure impactful messaging and marketing campaigns are executed.
- Write compelling copy for the website, brochure and marketing materials to promote the events.
- Oversee event management on the day of event and manage speaker relationships.
- Work with senior managers to ensure event logistics meet the needs of sponsors, speakers and delegates.
- Contribute to all areas of the business with ideas and suggestions for new products, growth opportunities and fun activities.
- Become a director of the company in record time.

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Three to five years’ experience as a successful conference producer.
- Experience or interest in financial services and technology.
- Outstanding skills in communications, project management and relationship management.
- Strong writing and inter-personal skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise, work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proactive and enthusiastic, with a professional and can-do attitude.
- Excellent team skills and a sociable approach to life.
