This is a Junior Assistant Accountant position based in Slough.

**Client Details**

This Junior Assistant Accountant position is working for a global FTSE 250 business based in Slough.

**Description**

This temporary Junior Assistant Accountant position will give exposure to the following responsibilities:

- Responsible for financial accounting and general ledger
- Duties will include: Standard reporting, creating journals, balance sheet and bank reconciliations, bonus and commission calculations, allocating individuals to commission schedules, accruals, creation and management of fixed assets, intercompany accounts,recharges, running allocations, assisting with any group reporting requirements, prepayments and tax accounting
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts for entities in the region where required
- Meeting any internal and external audit requirements
- Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Working in line with GFS global processes
- Meeting deadlines
- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end closing
- Resolving accounting discrepancies

**Profile**
- Excellent attention to detail
- Personable and team player
- Someone who wants to get their foot in the door in a Finance role, and grow and develop within the role
- Ideally at Graduate level (desirable, not essential)
- Someone who is open to studying ACCA/CIMA

**Job Offer**

This is a temporary to permanent position with **hybrid working offered** (2 days in the office). Car parking is available on site and hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday.
