The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Finance Business Partner based in Hertford & Home working. This is a permanent position with Blue Square, supporting and working closely with our client Samsung, offering a salary between £40,000 - £47,500 per annum with a great bonus.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Financial Business Partnering, including liaising with Client Directors to ensure client budgets are at maximum utilisation. You and your team will support internal and external stakeholders with building required quotes and reporting to drive profitability and growth. You will deliver effective financial management to include all aspects of income accounting including income recognition, overseeing Sales Ledger and Credit Control alongside month-end Client Reporting. This is a pivotal role in ensuring our outstanding service levels to our clients are continually maintained and the business has reporting to support growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as a key business partner to stakeholders across the organisation, including senior management, to provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision making.
- Work closely with business units to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans that align with overall business objectives, and manage client expectations regarding budgetary constraints and financial goals.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate performance against budget and forecast, identify areas of improvement and support decision-making, while ensuring adherence to client expectations and requirements.
- Analyse and interpret financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support business performance review and decision-making and provide regular updates and reports to clients on progress and outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on financial processes and policies, ensuring adherence to client and organisational requirements.
- Managing a small team to deliver high-quality financial services to the organisation and clients, promoting financial best practices and continuous improvement.

Skill and Experience

Essential:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage client
expectations and provide effective client reporting
- Ability to support and develop a small team
- Good problem solver with critical thinking skills
- Advanced excel knowledge to include pivot tables and v-lookups
- Team player with a great attitude
- Pro-active and able to work off own initiative
- Part or fully qualified CIMA/ACCA or similar qualification, with the expectation to obtain full qualification
