MYTIME is looking for a dynamic, innovative, and visionary individual to lead on our community fundraising. The Community Fundraising and Events Executive will be responsible for the growth of our fundraising revenue through building support with schools, rotary groups, WI’s and the wider community. Your role will include working as part of the fundraising team and working closely with our Communications Manager and Corporate Partnerships Executive to manage the planning and delivery of our community relationships and events.

**Typical Day**:No two days will be the same in our MYTIME fundraising team, but you’ll work closely with our Head of Fundraising and the rest of our incredible fundraising team to raise vital funds so we can offer young carers, their families, schools, and wider community groups the support they need. This could involve organising charity events, supporting other organisations/individuals who are fundraising for us, meeting new people and getting them involved with the charity.

**Responsibilities**:
Manage the community fundraising budget, ensuring targets are met

Building relationships with local individuals, community groups, and organisations, inspiring them to donate to, sponsor, or otherwise support MYTIME

Preparing and delivering presentations, both internally and externally, about the work of the charity

Planning, co-ordinating and delivering fundraising campaigns and events, both online and in person, raising funds and awareness for the charity

Working with the Communications Manager to promote fundraising campaigns and events

Working with our Volunteers Manager to recruit, co-ordinate, and inspire volunteers

Working with our Corporate Partnerships Executive to organise and deliver several fundraising events across the year

Recording donors and supporters on the MYTIME database and ensuring good communication is kept between those who support the charity

Build on our school fundraising strategy to increase fundraising opportunities by communicating with schools and raising the profile of the charity

Develop a strategy alongside the fundraising team to encourage people to become regular donors

Promote individuals taking on challenge events for MYTIME

Stewarding MYTIME supporters to ensure that they are thanked for their support and keep them informed about how their fundraising has helped, key milestones we have achieved, and raise awareness of future opportunities to support the charity

**General responsibilities**:
Contribute to the overall ethos / work aims of MYTIME

Create a warm and positive impression of the charity when interacting with all our supporters, partners and young carers

Help to foster and enhance strong links with organisations which will develop opportunities for MYTIME

Participate in training and other learning activities as required, undertaking training as required to support the functions of the post and to enhance personal development

Undertake any other reasonable duties when requested by the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Leadership Team and/or the Trustees

**Safeguarding**:
Promote and support the safeguarding of young people and vulnerable adults

Undertake regular safeguarding training as required

**Experience and/or Qualifications required**:
Experience within the charity sector or events industry

Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office i.e. Word and Excel and experience of using CRM or similar database software

Experience of working to deadlines and handling multiple projects at the same time

Confidence in delivering presentations to groups of adults/children

Experience of working in a target-based environment

Experience or a desire to work in a youth focused organisation to help make a positive impact young carers and their family’s lives
