**National Account Executive - Off Trade (**Field Based)**
The National Account Executive - Off Trade is responsible for the administration, planning and execution of business plans across a range of key accounts. These plans support the development of our off trade sales in line with the channel strategy and category growth within the retailers.
The role is critical in allowing the off trade team to put the customer first and ensure a high level of service. Specifically the role will lead our business with the variety retailers - B&M, Home Bargains, Savers, plus Iceland and Booths. Alongside this the role will be supporting the development of Ocado and Amazon plus helping as required with our biggest customers Tesco, Sainsburys, Morrisons and Asda.
**Responsibilities**
- Building a network of customer contacts and activating a contact strategy that demonstrates putting the customer first.
- Managing the execution of account / brand activities devised by GK sales & marketing teams.
- Sales development in specified segments and implementation of channel priorities.
- Create & keep live an annual account plan delivering channel objectives.
- Agree and negotiate with the customer a joint business plan that delivers for both the internal and external business objectives.
- Ensure accurate periodic sales forecasts linking in with the off trade team, supply chain, brewery and finance.
- Complete customer account administration - invoice processing, trade promotions management etc
- Ad hoc projects and tasks in support of broader off trade development eg gifting
**About you...**
- Relevant early customer facing sales experience preferable
- Would also consider a new graduate at an appropriately advanced level. Preferable to have a marketing or business related degree 2:1 or above
- Solid numerical ability
- Effective communicator (written and verbal) and with strong inter personal skills
- Confident in the use of Excel, Poweroint and Word
- Familiarity working with internal IT and management systems
- Proactive individual capable of working independently
- Personal resilience and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Strong fit with the Greene King values - able to demonstrate examples of these
- Quick learner and comfortable with ambiguity
