**The role of Finance Manager**

As the team scales the current plan Is for this role to split into 2 with the opportunity for the incumbent to move Into either the Financial Controller role or the FP&A Manager role.

Initial priorities are upskilling the current team, helping to Identify and Implement Financial Tools and Systems, forecasting of Working Capital needs and supporting the Head of Finance with the development of and management of the Financial Plan.

**Initial Responsibilities**

Management and development of the Finance Team

Cashflow Forecasting and Working Capital Management

Ensuring the Integrity of the Financials and Financial data

VAT Reporting and compliance

Management of Month End process and reporting to Parent Co.

Supporting the management and development of processes, systems, and controls.

Supporting the forecasting and budgeting cycles and Inputs

Timely and accurate submission of Management Accounts, Project P&L's and Departmental P&L's, against forecast/budget.

Full variance analysis of actual vs plan

Adhoc projects as requested by Head of Finance

**Essential Skills**

Technically competent under IFRS and FRS102

Strong to advanced Excel Skills - essential

**Essential Experience**

Previous Management Reporting experience

Team management and development

Leadership

Improvement of processes

Desirable Experience

Business Partnering

Fast paced, start up or rapid growth working environment

Understanding of data flows and control fame works

**Qualifications**

3-5 years post qualification Accountant, ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA
