A Management Accountant role for a national charity in Reading - they are working from home for 3 days per week currently and looking for someone to work as a business partner with a specific department.

**Client Details**

You will be working for a large national organisation and operating within one of their most commercial divisions, where you will be expected to business partner with the key stakeholders to ensure that information is flowing between them and Finance.

They are based just outside Reading and have plenty of onsite parking, there is a significant Finance function and ample scope for you to develop into other areas and sections of the business.

**Description**

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant will be to
- Undertake any management accounting and reporting activities allocated by, and in support of the work of, the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager or Finance Business Partners
- Maintain accounting records, including accruals, prepayments, journals, reconciliations, etc, etc. verifying integrity of data
- Compile and circulate regular management accounts reports.
- Support the quarterly and annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Oversee Branch accounting.
- Manage and support headcount reporting in collaboration with HR
- Monitor SRRs against budgets
- Process payments.
- Lead or participate in ad hoc projects and process improvements

**Profile**

You will be part of a very people focused team and operate in a collaborative environment. Communication at all levels is crucial.
