At Ball Fire Protection Ltd we pride ourselves in covering “All things fire” and being run by Former Senior Fire Service staff we believe in doing it right, not just for compliance purposes but also doing the right thing by our customers, we don’t rip people off by overselling, inflating prices or intentionally damaging them.

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Fire Administration Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth running of the office, along with providing support to the fire engineers. Although, primarily office based the role will involve visiting customers to quote for works and carry out post installation quality assurance checks as part of our ISO quality management system. We need a “completer / finisher” that gets the job done.

This is a very varied role covering all aspects of service delivery and as such we need someone who is customer focused with a strong personality that can think on their feet whilst being self-motivated to “get the job done” and help drive the company forward.

Essential Criteria:

- Excellent communication with the ability to communicate with customers
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
- Good working knowledge of IT packages

About You:

- Excellent organisational skills
- Proven experience in a customer service working environment or in a similar role
- Experience directly managing performance
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and office management software plus willingness to learn and embrace new packages
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- A proactive and problem-solving mindset

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee engineer’s diaries, as well as quality checks
- Maintain and progress quality management system to ISO / BAFE requirements
- Create fire plans using company software
- Manage and quote for fire risk assessments
- Assist the finance team with credit control
- Assist manager with the creation of fire strategies
- Oversee social media and marketing

- £26,000 annual salary with pension, reviewed after successful completion of Probationary Period
