We are delighted to partner with a tech platform in the E-commerce space to run the search for their new Head of Talent.
Tech Scale up - £100k - Hybrid (2 days on site West London).
Would suit a talent leader with a background in high growth tech environments, ideally 300-500 FTE's.
A strategic thinker, creating innovative talent strategy.
Strong on process improvement, what can be done differently? How can we improve?
Excellent analytical skills, champion of data to influence, plan and tell stories.
Coaching style, both with the team and partnering at ExCo.
Operationally hands on, delivering key senior hires and leading from the front.
Team of 2 Talent Partners (supported currently by additional embedded model) already in place with headcount approved for 2 more.

The role
- Set a high-level strategy and a clear roadmap for the Talent Acquisition team and be able to communicate this strategy - and data-driven goals - to different stakeholders
- Define and promote our employer brand
- Build a best in class, innovative Talent Acquisition team (using a combination of permanent hires, contractors and external partners)
- Coach Talent Acquisition team members to operate effectively in interactions with all internal and external stakeholders
- Coach and advise hiring managers throughout hiring process to ensure consistency and best practice
- Partner with finance team on workforce planning for the organisation via the annual budget process
- Coordinate and chair weekly Resource Management meetings with respective Exec leads
- Own the ATS and other recruitment tools and technologies
- Contribute to the annual roadmap and OKRs for the wider People team
Your background
- A track record in leading recruitment teams in a high-growth, tech-focussed environment
- Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering TA strategy
- A proven track record of delivering data-driven insights and translating those into process improvements
- Ability to lead, develop and motivate team members whilst retaining hands-on involvement in hiring
- Experience building strong cross functional relationships with hiring managers across the organisation in order to fully understand their needs and deliver high quality placements
- A strategic mindset and skills to find innovative solutions to business challenges
- Great analytical skills and the ability to measure the success of your work using OKRs
