- Hybrid working pattern
- 3 days a week in the office and 2 from home
- £50,900 per annum plus 10% bonus
**Key Responsibilities**
- Establish the Public Affairs practice of the company in the NWE
- Design and implement public affairs plan, advocacy actions and outreach campaigns.
- Engagement with integrity and ethics with politicians, officials, associations, civil society agents and clients.
- Represent the company, directly or through associations, to favor a positive regulatory environment.
- Monitor public policy and regulation to ensure the company provides the right feedback and obtains information on current discussions and trends.
- Content development (positioning documents, public consultations, messaging, etc.).
- Boost participation of the company in public consultations as well as in other sectorial events.
- Raise awareness about the company's projects towards sustainability and energy transition.
- Work collaboratively with local business teams and in coordination with the corporate Public Affairs Lead.
- Manage the public affairs budget
**Experience Required**
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in public policy, law, economics, engineering, communication or similar.
- Understanding of the UK Bribery Act
- Previous Experience
- Strong experience in public policy (in public administration, association, consultancy company or within the sector).
- Sound knowledge of government, parliamentary and regulatory procedure, and environment.
- Excellent writing, oral and analytical skills.
- Expertise of the energy sector/regulation.
