**Summary**

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently looking for a Head of Repairs to join their team in this newly created and exciting role.

You will be required to lead, plan and deliver an excellent, high quality and customer focused asset management service, ensuring value for money.

**Responsibilities**
- Design and implement a comprehensive asset management strategy, interfacing the results of stock condition surveys and other data, in order to keep the organisations homes compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Lead the compliance team, ensuring compliance in all properties in the areas of gas, M&E, fire, asbestos, legionella and building safety.
- Create the asset management strategy in a way that optimises the opportunity for the stock, looking to minimise future repairs and improvement costs and maximising environmental/net zero objectives.
- Plan, specify and produce budgets for the major repairs of the organisations flatted blocks and mixed estates, including the environment surrounding the buildings to produce sustainable, desirable homes for tenants.
- Be responsible for ensuring that residents are appropriately consulted before and during major refurbishments, so that satisfaction remains high.

**About you**
- Understanding of zero carbon and external wall installations is highly desired.
- Comprehensive and successful experience of asset management and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary refurbishments, repairs and maintenance programmes.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing strategies in a housing environment.
- Proven track record of managing cultural change.
- Experience of all compliance areas.
- Full clean driver's license.
