We are now looking for a Head of Operations to join us in a key role on a permanent, full-time basis.

**The Role**
As the Head of Operations - Supported Housing, you will be responsible for leading our provision of services to Supported Housing customers and implementing our Supported Housing strategy.
We provide accommodation, support and advice for individuals who are going through difficult transitions. This may include people who are homeless, leaving care, leaving a psychiatric hospital or dealing with addiction.
Delivering agreed objectives and outcomes, you will develop operational plans, policies, procedures and working practices. You’ll continually seek and promote opportunities for improvement in efficiency, effectiveness and service quality.
Overseeing our operations, you’ll ensure that external partnerships are managed effectively, contract requirements are achieved and prepare for funding reform and contingency planning for non-viable services. This will include managing delivery of supportedcontracts of over £4.5M.
You will bring strategic thinking, commercial acumen and values driven behaviours to fulfil our ambitious supported housing, customer and environmental strategies. As a senior manager within LiveWest you will work closely with colleagues across Neighbourhoods,Asset Management and Property Services. You will work with pace and with a focus on achieving the right outcomes, in the right way.
Additionally, you will:

- Lead and motivate our c180 field and office-based colleagues
- Supported by our finance team, you will be responsible and accountable for the operational budget
- Set and achieve operational performance indicators
- Prioritise our customers’ needs, embedding a customer focussed approach
- Write and deliver tenders for commissioned work
- Work with stakeholders to promote LiveWest as a key supported housing provider
**About You**
To be considered as the Head of Operations, you will need:

- Experience of effectively managing dispersed teams with demonstrable achievement of consistent service provision
- Experience of effectively setting and managing a budget and achieving financial objectives
- Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, colleagues and external stakeholders
- An understanding of business planning and financial modelling
- An understanding of methods and channels for engaging with a wide range of stakeholders from a variety of backgrounds
- Excellent contract management skills
- IT proficiency
- A full, valid UK driving licence
