Charity People are excited to be working with a fantastic National Charity to recruit an Event Logistics Manager to join an ambitious and friendly Product Delivery Team. **Title - Event Logistics Manager** **Location - London office (1-2 days per week) & home (flexible working available)** **Contract - 12-month fixed term contract** **Full time - 35 hours per week** **Salary - £33,000 - £35,000** **Start: ASAP** **Full UK driving license required** **About the role** The Events Operations Manager will be responsible for the operational planning and logístical delivery of a portfolio of events to ensure they are delivered successfully so that participants have an excellent experience on the day. Working closely with the Operations Lead, you will be responsible for delivering all in house programme events (open water swims, treks, runs, etc) whilst building strong relationships with internal partners, external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure allevents run smoothly. You'll work with the wider Product Delivery and Marketing team to help identify opportunities and help plan local and/or regional activities to increase participant recruitment and promote events. You'll deliver budget, forecasts and plans, whilst providingefficiency and negotiating with suppliers to reduce costs. Our portfolio of events include London-to-Brighton Bike Ride, Bournemouth Pier-to-Pier Swim and Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Please note the internal job title of this role is "Operations Manager". **About you** You must be highly experienced in managing and delivering large-scale, complex, logístical projects, including on day site management. Experience of managing supporters and stakeholder relationships is also essential. This is such a fantastic opportunity for someone who is cause-driven, highly organised, and an excellent planner with the ability to multi-task and problem solve. You must have a proven track of delivering large scale event expenditure budgets and the procurementof relevant event suppliers. This role will suit a dedicated team player with excellent project management skills, who has great attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills and having the ability to develop effective working relationships with external suppliers, stakeholders andinternal departments is also essential.
