About the teamThe Community, Events and Education team manages and delivers a diverse portfolio of fundraising and engagement activity ranging from challenge events, our partnership with Glastonbury festival to community fundraising, our volunteer Speaker Network and education engagement. The team delivers far more than income by deepening the engagement of new and existing supporters, raising awareness of WaterAid’s work. The Special Events team is responsible for the management and delivery of unique festivals partnerships and special events.About the roleAs our Special Events Logistics Officer you will support on operations and logistics across all of WaterAid’s festival and special events projects and work closely with the festivals project team to drive sustainable change.In this role, you will:Manage, with support from the Special Events Manager – Partnerships and Operations on the delivery of all event logistics and operational plans for all our festival activity, including onsite operations, equipment management, schedules, logistics and onsite delivery.Manage, with support from the Special Events Manager – Partnerships and Operations, all operations and processes around merchandise and stock management at festivals. Develop and create risk assessments and support with incident management planning for all areas of our onsite events activity.Provide support on project management and delivery of other non-festival special events.
