Sheffield, United Kingdom Caremark Full time

**Are you an experienced Support Worker, who wants to make a difference and could help someone with complex care needs? Or do you have no experience in care, and are wanting a new career in an industry where your job is safe and secure?**

**Who are Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield?**

We are community health and social care provider in the Rotherham & Sheffield area - we are taking on new clients within their own homes and surroundings. We work together in close partnership with the people that use our service and their families to support children, teenagers and adults with complex care needs.

**Why choose Caremark Rotherham & Sheffield?**

We believe we are an excellent employer who cares for and values their staff members, many of our team have been working for the organization for over 5 years, and have always supported the same group of clients - we provide consistency so that our staff get to know our clients, and build up a close professional working relationship.

We deliver amazing training to our staff and we invest a lot of our time and money in ensuring our care and support workers are trained and equipped to the best they can be to provide the best outcome for our clients.

We have a few different vacancies - see below

**General Vacancy (incuding Community Access visits)**

There are many of our clients that we support who require their support worker to assist them within the community, within their own surroundings and to support them with their hobbies, interests, and their daily routines.

For our community access visits, we mostly require staff members who have access to their own vehicle as many clients are able to go out in the support workers car, there are several visits like this where there are 2 staff members present, to support 1 client. This depends on the complexity of the client and their needs.

Community access visits consist of taking clients to places they enjoy, this could be to - a local park, a museum, airport to watch aero planes, to football center's, to shopping malls, to the cinema, to restaurants for a meal, to activity places such as JUMP, trampoline parks, etc. - the list goes on

We love to enable our clients to live as ordinary a life as they possibly can.

Whilst within the community, our support workers/carers may be expected to help with personal cares, showering (after swimming maybe), bathing, eating and drinking.
