**Your Role** We are looking for an all round superstar to manage and oversee the daily people and administrative operations of the farm. This is an opportunity to have a significant impact, deliver generalist services across the team as well as building and maintaining a first-rate working environment in which the farm can thrive. The position is a blend of HR, operations, administration and events. We’re looking for somebody with exceptional energy and drive who wants to have a big impact across the farm and help the team deliver on our mission to turn food production on its head: - you’ll have a calm manner and an agile & flexible mindset - you’ll enjoy working at pace, collaborating with like-minded individuals - you’ll be comfortable with a high level of autonomy, within a supportive framework **Generalist HR** - Provide day-to-day advice to line managers and employees on general HR related queries, requests and company policies and procedures. For example, absence management, disciplinary, personal development etc. - Answering general enquiries and connecting them to the appropriate person or policy - Recruitment support activities (e.g. working with hiring manager on job descriptions, liaising with recruiters, CV screening/interview coordination, recruitment channel job posting, collation of feedback, sourcing agency workers as required) - Training initiatives (e.g. developing training and induction programmes for farm staff, ensuring training is scheduled, records are auditable and up to date) - Onboarding/offboarding staff and contractors - Actively foster a culture of “engagement” in line with our company core values **Office Management** - General office administration and management: providing office management and administrative support at the Farm - "Front of house" for visitors to the Farm: welcoming visitors/contractors/staff, preparing meeting rooms etc - Ordering and managing office materials and consumables (office furniture, equipment, stationary etc) - Managing inbound and outbound post/packages **Administration** - Minor accounting duties (invoice processing etc) - Keeping business databases and documentation up to date - Facilitate the organisation of site events - Coordinate facility contractors (gardeners, cleaners etc) **Requirements**: - 3 - 5 years’ experience or level 3 CIPD - English both written & verbal - Basic numeracy - Warm, engaging and motivated team player - Excellent eye for detail and precision - Problem solver - Energy, drive, and high achievement focus **Benefits** **Package** - Salary: £25,000 - £30,000/year - Full time role - Role is based at the farm near Sandwich **Benefits** - 25 days holiday - Parental Leave (3 months full pay, with flexible options for additional leave up to 1 year) - Pension scheme (5% employer contribution) - Employee share scheme - Free parking and EV charging - Free snacks and fruit at work - State-of-the-art facility: good working environment and space for rest breaks - "Vitality at Work" health scheme, including: - GP consultations - Up to 40% discount gym membership - Benefits platform, including: - Cycle-to-work scheme - Retail discount scheme - Employee Assistance programme - Tax free childcare vouchers - Income protection scheme - Team entertainment (regular events, offsites, etc) **What’s in it for you?** - Be part of a great business - you will be joining one of the fastest growing and most exciting businesses in the vertical farming industry - Be part of a great team - you will work with and learn from a friendly, smart, growing, and passionate team who care about each other and the business - Grow yourself - a chance to develop yourself and make the role your own as the business and team builds, broadening your knowledge and capabilities to push you to the next level - Share our passion for driving change for good - sustainable production is at the heart of what we do and we’re on the journey to B Corp certification
