**Do you have experience in a Logistics Operative role?**

**Do you have previous fleet management experience?**

Our client, a leading facilities provider and servicing provider is looking for a Logistics Operative to join their growing team at Discovery Park in Sandwich.

**Hours 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week**

**Salary £21,500 per annum**

**23 days holiday + bank holidays**

**Overtime available**

6 months’ probation

**Responsibilities for the Logistics Operative will include**
- Accurate checking and receipt of inbound packages and goods
- Recording of inbound packages onto paper-based and electronic systems
- Process returns deliveries or courier packages to be sent to external locations for business-critical items.
- Reporting of damaged packages and goods
- Managing outgoing packages and goods
- Perform accurate regular inventory checking activities
- Delivery/collection service of company and tenant packages across site
- Effective liaison with customers/tenants
- Accurate completion of paper-based and electronic tracking systems
- Work across multiple site locations delivering excellent customer service
- Effectively manage storage of company/tenant packages
- Assist the stores and logistics manager with site fleet vehicles
- Provide limited cover for the stores and logistics manager as required

**Requirements for successful Logistics Operative specification**
- Current full UK driving license as role is remote access
- Motivated and proactive team player
- Be motivated and able to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision.
- Good Organisational Skills and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, able to interact and build relationships with people across all levels of the business
- Ability to work under your own direction
- Ability to organise stock take and prioritize works to accomplish tasks
- Able to undertake manual handling processes, movement of items weighing up to 25Kg, use of cages and pallet trucks traversing buildings on foot to delivery locations for tenants and staff.
- Technically literate, understanding of Microsoft office, excel, word etc..
- Able to establish good relationships with staff and tenants
- Willing to learn and enhance their skill base
- Demonstration of company core values
- Previous Goods In/logistics experience
- Valid counterbalance forklift truck license - if not held this will need to be obtained via internal training
- Previous fleet management admin
- Experience of using electronic tracking systems - stock item control
