Business Controller
As part of the EMEA Finance Team, the Business Controller reports to the Head of Controlling EMEA and plays a strategic role in the standardization of APLL’s approach, improving quality and gaining better insight in our contribution margin.
The Business Controller is a crucial function within Finance where they act as a business partner towards the operations and you are the important link between Finance and the business. You are capable in translating business challenges into financial solutions.
Alignment and follow up for our office in the UK, but also give support to the offices of The Netherlands and Germany with customers spread over whole Europe. As a business controller you drive efficiency and ultimately improve the Operating Income.
Key result Areas:
- Accurate Contribution margin. (Limited Prior Month Impacts)
- Limited monthly corrections as operational procedures are followed or improved. Follow up with Key Account Managers and Operations Managers.
- Pro-active and reactive solutions to all Top line and customer related issues. Be the “spider in the web” for all departments
- Risk mitigation and awareness of our customers, business trends and volumes
- Be in control or frontline with new changes or overseas issues resulting in financial impacts for EMEA
- Effective communication with stakeholders on all levels of management. Being able to translate from “financial” to “business” needs and vice versa.
