**London Based (with home working 2-3 days per week)
6 month Fixed Term Contract
**This is a great opportunity for a Syndicate Premium Analyst to join a very efficient and dynamic team as part of a Syndicate Finance team. We use an external credit control service provider based in London and Whitham. Credit Control report to a number ofentities across the group including Underwriting, CFO, SII and our Head of Finance Operations. Managing premium collection for Syndicates (33 and 3624).

**The Role**

Working with the our service provider, reporting to the Syndicate Credit Control Manager, you will undertake reviews of our premium debt, administration and reporting tasks assigned to the syndicate credit control for both Syndicates for Hiscox SyndicatesLimited. You will be guided by other team members until you can fully perform the tasks allocated independently. The role provides strong opportunities to work with many classes of business including inward reinsurance and provide a broader knowledge of aSyndicate Finance/Credit Control function.

**What you'll be doing in the role**
- Binder income vs estimated premium analysis for Syndicate 33 with intercompany reviews on syndicate 3624
- Maintain and implement adequate controls on premium debt
- Perform monthly premium movement validations
- Some compliance reporting tasks for Lloyds
- Reviewing underwriting responses to premium queries raised by third party credit control service
- Cover for key reporting elements of MI, SII and Operational reporting
- Attending meetings with Brokers and Coverholders where required
- Produce and maintain key controls and data governance documentation
- Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Support wider Syndicate finance function with ad-hoc / cross training tasks

**Our must haves**
- 3+ years in a Lloyds syndicate credit control role
- Strong investigative skills and understanding of Lloyds insurance premium process
- Experience Xchanging/DXC environments such as Insurance Portal Tracker and Account Enquiry
- Can maintain excellent attention to detail and determination to resolve queries
- Good understanding of LPSO signing messages
- Advanced Excel Skills, Pivot tables and Vlookup
- Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
- Innovative and open minded in approaching issues and determining solutions
- Confident communicator who builds good relationships across the business
- Self-motivated working as a team and individually

**Nice to have**
- Lloyd's / Syndicate ECF systems experience including Insurance Portal
- Delegated Underwriting Authority handling (Binders & Facilities)
- Openbox or IRIS systems experience preferable
