Debt Capital Markets Trade Analyst Long term opportunity
Hays are recruiting for a DCM/ Syndicate analyst to join a leading Bank in the City.
The team are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable policies and procedures, appropriately fulfillingrisk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions.
Your individual responsibilities will include;
- Providing support to the various syndicate trading desks and investment banking teams across London and other locations where the EMEA Syndicate business is active.
- Obtaining eligibility for securities, funding issuers on settlement date, reconciling deal related revenue, paying deal related expenses, creating deal profit and loss statements, distributing revenue and statement of accounts to outside Syndicate members,maintaining extensive documentation of the Syndicate process and booking general ledger entries.
Expected experience includes;
- Excellent experience of Primary and he Syndicate Business trade life cycle and support model.
- Experience of dealing with Front Office Traders and Salesforce.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with an attention to detail.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Strong analytical and organizational
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience of growing out a new Business.
- Customer service orientation (both external and internal clients) is a must with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
