Summary

Assist Head of ESG Syndicate across all aspects of the job.

Key Responsibilities

1. Day-to-day responsibilities
- Maintaining and developing databases (issuance, investors, etc.) both within Syndicate and in collaboration with e.g. Sustainable Banking, DCM, Sales etc
- Tracking ESG Bond market trends (market data and the press)
- Creating concise presentation materials

2. Strategy and Business Planning
- Assist in developing the business activity of the ESG Syndicate function within the Syndicate team and broader Primary Markets business
- Monitor and highlight market developments to ensure CACIB maintains its market-leading ESG franchise

3. Communication
- Develop good working relationships with the numerous stakeholders in the ESG primary markets business
- Contribute to / initiate discussion on developments in the market and regularly exchange ideas
- Be able to present key developments in a coherent manner

5. Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the London Compliance manual and the Financial Crime Policy. Complete any mandatory training in line with legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.
- Refrain from taking any steps which could lead to the removal of certification of fitness and propriety to perform the role.
- Undertake all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.
- Comply with all applicable conduct rules as prescribed by the relevant regulator

- Bac
- Formation / Spécialisation
- Degree, preferably in a Mathematical / Scientific area, or A-levels followed by appropriate market relevant working experience
- Soft skills
- Team oriented
- Excellent communication skills and able to coordinate effectively with other Teams: Sales, Traders, DCM Originators, MO and BO.
Ability to think quickly, make decisions using good judgement and prioritize in busy trading situations
- Fluent in English
- Outils informatiques
- Experience of Syndicate function or Sales / Trading / DCM origination.
- Ability to communicate clearly and easily
- IT literate.
- Thorough knowledge of financial derivatives products including market liquidity (ability to enter or exit a position) and volatility (magnitude / speed of price change), pricing and trading/hedging strategies.
- Strong numerical, analytical and spreadsheets skills.
- Strong knowledge of bonds and swaps markets.
