**Development Manager - Market Risk, PnL, Pricing - Java / C++**

Development Manger required to lead a team of developers within the Risk IT function of a leading financial markets post trade organisation. This is a permanent role paying £115,000 - £120,000 + bonus + benefits and is based in the City but offer flexibleworking.

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of 4 developers on a platform built on a Java based architecture with a C++ analytics library.

As the Development Manager you will be providing day-day technical leadership and guidance of the team, owning the planning and execution of projects from definition through to delivery. This is a relatively hands-off role but will require you to carry outsome coding and support from time to time.

A key part of this role is partnering with senior stakeholders Technology as well as the Business and also Quant Risk teams. This position therefore requires someone with a strong technical background but who also has excellent communication skills and candevelop high level strategies.

**Key Requirements**
- Technical development background who has moved into a Management or Leadership role
- Background in Java and/or C++
- Must have experience and knowledge of Risk platforms/Margin calculations / Pricing tools
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills who can effectively liaise with Senior Management across Business and IT.
